Brothers-in-law Samiul Islam and Abdul Muktadir have surpassed their income targets in their first 18 months of running a Dream Doors franchise.

In fact, as franchisees of the UK’s #1 kitchen makeover company, the pair have brought in over £123,000 in sales in the last two months alone at their Dartford showroom.

Husband and father-of-two Samiul, 37, said:

We’ve been mega busy, that’s the only way to describe it. We’ve had a lot of leads and a lot of sales – it’s just a case of managing it all.

Abdul, 33, who used to work as a business development manager for an online travel company, helped Samiul install his kitchen around two years ago. Samiul said he was so impressed by Abdul’s work that when the opportunity to run a kitchen makeover showroom arose, he knew they could make a go of it together.

Samiul, who used to work in pharmaceutical sales, said:

We have similar ideas and a similar mentality, and we work really well together. After seeing his work, I knew he was skilled. I had been thinking about starting my own business, but I didn’t know what to get involved in.

While attending a franchise recruitment fair, Samiul met Dream Doors’ founder and chairman Troy Tappenden and was struck by Dream Doors’ business model. He said:

What inspired me about Dream Doors is that they provide a lot of support and guidance. But just looking at the stats, the numbers added up. It’s a brilliant concept to reface kitchens rather than replace them – I could see the value in that. I could also see that there are lots of showrooms all over the country.

I did look into other companies but when I met Troy, I liked the way he carried himself. I thought: ‘That’s the company for me.’ I wanted the independence of working for myself and I wanted a challenge. But it’s also the case that I’ve got a young family and I wanted that support to make a go of it.

Everything Dream Doors was doing fitted very well with my ideas of what I wanted to do. Joining Dream Doors has worked out far better than I expected it to. We’ve met and already exceeded our targets by almost 50 per cent.

Dream Doors is looking for more talented franchisees like Samiul and Abdul who are ready to generate huge profits by representing an industry-leading brand.

There are just 19 new franchise territories available nationwide, particularly in the North East, North West, Yorkshire and Scotland.

But, with several existing franchisees approaching retirement age, interested parties from anywhere in the UK are encouraged to contact Director of Franchise Recruitment, Alex Waite, on 02392 604 630.
