Footballing Great Cuts Ribbon at Dream Doors Bolton

Chorley FC chairman Ken Wright helped a Bolton couple achieve their goal of opening a kitchen showroom.

The Magpies boss joined Mick Appleton and Sharon Leeson, accompanied by their family, to cut the ribbon at Dream Doors Bury and Bolton in Bury New Road, Bolton.

Well-wishers from the local community joined in the celebration, which was followed by prosecco and nibbles in the showroom and the prize draw for a Facebook competition to win a new coffee machine.

Ex-child therapist Sharon said:

It’s been a great day and it was lovely to see so many people turn up. It was also great to have Ken here to cut the ribbon and to be able to talk to him about Chorley’s promotion back into the National League.

Former service engineer Mick added:

We’re a new, family-run business and we would like to invite everyone in the area to come in and have a look around. If you pay us a visit, we’ll make you a cup of tea or coffee and help you find your ideal kitchen.
