After more than a decade of trading, Dream Doors franchisees Mike and Elaine Hurley are still enjoying their work and making great money.

Mike, a former senior IT officer for a major US software firm, said he was drawn to franchising after being made redundant.

Mike and his wife Elaine, a former course manager for the Open University, said opening Dream Doors Oxford for the UK’s #1 kitchen makeover company has let them build up a healthy retirement nest egg when they decide to cash it in. Elaine said:

We started our business in the height of the recession in 2009, so we had to find a way forward through that, and I feel we’ve led the way for much of our time here. We’ve set high standards that are now being exceeded elsewhere in the network. We’re not followers, we’re leaders and we’ve built great team of people at our showroom.

Mike added:

In the early days of Dream Doors, the support was good but not as robust as it is these days. The training is now also a lot more rigorous. The company has made changes and has kept moving in the right direction. The future can only hold positives for Dream Doors and anyone who joins up.

Dream Doors is looking for more talented franchisees like Mike and Elaine who are ready to generate huge profits by representing an industry-leading brand.

There are just 19 new franchise territories available nationwide, particularly in the North East, North West, Yorkshire and Scotland.
